Angela M. Butcher
Before co-founding Hesed International Missions, Angela served as a law clerk to a federal appellate judge and practiced law at two of the nation’s most prestigious law firms in Washington, DC. In July 2011, Angela turned her long-time passion for children into her full-time mission when she will move to Addis Ababa to open a home for orphaned and at-risk children. While H.I.M. provides children with crucial immediate care, Angela’s ultimate goal is to help children find permanent family homes though reunification whenever possible, and through adoption when appropriate.
